Accessibility
We want the Kisma Ventures store to be usable by as many people as possible.
What we've built in
- Semantic headings and landmarks, with one main heading per page.
- Full keyboard navigation, including menus, search and the basket drawer.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Escape closes menus, search and the basket drawer.
- Labelled form fields with clear, text-based error messages.
- Descriptive alt text on product images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Touch targets sized for comfortable use on phones.
- Reduced-motion support for people who prefer less animation.
Known limitations
Checkout is hosted and controlled by Shopify, so its accessibility is governed by Shopify's own implementation.
